How we check evidence

We check product facts against official sources. We do not test products ourselves. Every number we publish comes from a primary source we can link to. If we cannot trace a fact, we mark it "not verified" instead of guessing.

Which sources count

Text written by AI tools is never treated as a source. AI helps us draft wording; the numbers come from the data table.

How a fact is checked

  1. We record the value, unit, source link and the date we checked it.
  2. A person or an automated check confirms the value matches the source.
  3. Only facts marked verified appear in tables. Everything else shows as "not verified".
  4. Before publishing, a checker compares every number in the article with the data and blocks mismatches.

What we do not do

Corrections

If a fact is wrong or outdated, it is corrected in the data and every page using it is rebuilt. Each page shows when its data was last checked.
